Much of what surrounds us in the modern urban landscape has shifted and will never be the same again. How quickly everything related to the war became routine.

The most popular phrase from the time of the full-scale invasion, in the form of graffiti and a model of a ship on the wall, was “Russian warship, go f*ck yourself.” Spring 2022

Different outdoor advertising and graffiti, taped-up windows, anti-tank hedgehogs, beach warning signs, red barrier tape, bomb shelter signs, street barricades, and sandbags – these have become an integral part of the new everyday life we’ve grown accustomed to, no longer finding them surprising.
