Nirvair Singh Rai

Nirvair Singh Rai, 19 years old, from Bathinda, Punjab, India. “My father has a keen hobby for making images with a film camera. I grew up in a small town, with photography as my partner when solitude called for it. I haven’t seen much work of legendary photographers, which in a way helped me have my own original viewpoint towards subject and perspectives in photography. Nature had always been my center of interest, though documenting people and cultures has also become a part of me now. I interned with a celebrated photographer Pablo Bartholomew and since then started making photo essays.”
