Arko Datto (www.arkodatto.weebly.com) is a photographer dividing his time between India and France. He tries to find similarities between these two great nations, similarly rich in their glorious pasts, political fervours and religious traditions. He decided to take the leap into photography after completing his studies in the theoretical sciences. He has been selected for the Angkor Photo Workshop in Cambodia with Magnum photographer Antoine d’Agata, 2012 and was invited to the XXIVth Eddie Adams Wrokshop in New York. He works mostly on long term documentary projects.
