Kadir van Lohuizen (www.lohuizen.net) The Netherlands, 1963. he has covered conflicts in Africa and elsewhere, but is probably best known for his projects on seven rivers of the world and the diamond industry. More recently, he has covered the oil disaster in the Niger Delta and continues a long-term project on the survivors of Hurricane Katrina. He is based in Amsterdam.
The goal of the photo agency Noor is to produce, publish, and exhibit long term visual projects on topics of human concerns to a broad international audience while maintaining the dignity of the subjects.

In the far north of Siberia, north of the Arctic circle, is the Jamal peninsula. This is the territory of the Nenets, one of the very last nomadic populations. Together with their reindeer herds, the Nenets wander around the Siberia tundra, where many are fishermen.
