The training center offers several workshops led by well-known photographers and expands into Berlin.
Underlining the importance of a personal approach
Eyes in Progress courses aim to teach photographers how to develop their own unique signature, personal style as well as harnessing their individual approach towards the subject photographed, in order to distinguish themselves from others.
A european dimension
Eyes in Progress, which already has a presence in Paris, Barcelona and Amsterdam, affirms its status as a European organisation by offering courses in Berlin in 2015.
A varied program
Eyes in Progress offers workshops led by renown photographers such as Lise Sarfati (Contemporary photography), Michael Ackerman (Introspective photography), David Burnett (The creative eye), Todd Hido (The troubled landscape) and introduces a series of Visual Storytelling Workshops in partnership with VII Photo Agency. The photographers Claudine Doury (The sensitive eye) and Franck Boutonnet (wedding photojournalism) are in the program for the first time.
A more professional and international audience
45% of the student photographers who trained at Eyes in Progress (within the first three years of its existence) are photographers, graphic artists, illustrators or work in cinema. Otherwise, 70% of people who undertake these courses are from foreign countries, 76% of which come from a European country.
