Anna Gianfrate | Brooklynites

Brooklyn, New York City- August 2012. Leaf.
[B]rooklynites is my personal view of Brooklyn. I’m attracted by the beauty of this industrial neighborhood where you can find trash, empty cars, bodega cats, beautiful deserted streets or a little butterfly garden in the middle of nowhere.

I’m interested in finding beauty in everyday objects, elevating these objects and giving new life to them. So objects and scenes that usually could be irrelevant became magical.
I work with instant film because it is important for me that all these magical moments are unique and unreproducible.
