Buy PRIVATE 55 [T]here have been big changes in all areas of life during the last 20 years. Most people remember the Communist regime with disdain. External reminders of the country’s recent past are disappearing. Monuments are being dismantled and street and town names have changed. But in the more remote villages the few young people and the old remember Soviet times very differently.
They were born and lived under Soviet regime. They still maintain their traditions and talk positively about the Soviet Union. Pictures were taken in 2009 in Burdukovo village, Kostroma region.
