Zhang Xiaoming | Towards North

Buy PRIVATE 50 [I] would usually visit small villages and towns close to Shaanxi Province in the Northwest of China. “Towards North” is a series of photographs depicting local lives in Shaanxi and neighboring towns and villages to the Northwest of the city. Each trip would bring me to a place with a style completely different from my own city. Everything seemed new to me. When I saw something exciting, I would try to get familiar with in my own way and integrate into the local community. All these places are like stages with endless splendid performances for me to enjoy to my heart’s content.
