Benjamin Rusnak, Dreams & Tempests, from PRIVATE 48 – Economic inequalities

[T]ourists may dream of postcard landscapes, but paradise can be destroyed by the deadly tempests the poor living in the tropics must face. Confronted with the daily struggle for food, water and shelter, one would expect there is little time left for the imagination. But people are caught between the forces of nature and economics and find inner strength. They eke out an existence, carried along by faith and hope, and they are still able to dream of a life in their surrounding paradise. (Food For The Poor/ZUMA)
