Sven Torfinn (www.sventorfinn.com), born in 1971, he studied photography at the Academy for Fine Arts Sint Joost in Breda, the Netherlands. He has been based in Nairobi since 2000, travelling all over Africa on assignment for the Dutch and international media and NGOs. In 2005 he won a World Press Photo Award for a reportage from Congo.
