The associations LUCE and Obiettivo Granieri organized in Ancona from 16 to 23 September 2015 “INTERIORE” a photography workshop, led by a great Master, Michael Ackerman.
It will be a full immersion of 8 days in which the city of Ancona and the beautiful surroundings will constitute the scenario and the stimulus. A research far from the clichés of photography because there will be a special guide that will teach how to tell places, territories and their inhabitants, transcribing personal emotions.
The workshop will be divided into different moments: shooting, collective criticism and one-to-one with the teacher. The goal is helping the student to find personal point of view.
For that reason, LUCE and Obiettivo Granieri invite all participants to shoot with the favorite camera, both digital and analog. B/N films will be developed day by day in the darkroom of the two associations. While colour films will be brought in a lab.
Three assistants will work as tutors to groups of 3/4 participants, an assistant will ensure simultaneous translation in class and in all social occasions (that are also opportunity for discussion and criticism of the daily work).
The last day will be dedicated to the editing of the slideshow with photos taken by participants. On 23 Sept. evening the slideshow will be projected in a characteristic place of Ancona open to the public and, in October, at Interzone Gallery, in Rome.
