Nobody likes to be hindered by worldly troubles

During two different seasons, summer and winter, Franky Verdickt escaped to South Korea and made long walks throughout this country and its numerous beautiful islands. Keeping in mind a sentence from the Chinese painter Guo Xi (c.1020-1090) “Nobody likes to be hindered by worldly troubles. Everyone aspires to be a celestial being sitting on the foggy clouds encircling the top of a magnificent mountain” Verdickt wandered around trying to escape everyday life but ends up in a place where people like everybody are living their every day lives. This results in a essayistic escapism formed in a beautiful edited book.

To make this book possible Franky Verdickt launched a crowdfunding, because without your kind support, dreams comes true when everybody is dreaming the same.
