Q&A with Jonathan Raa

Photography is…
To create a frame with vision, to connect in harmony with the people who you photograph.

Photography and writing…
Photography is writing without words you find in the dictionary, writing is black on white without going in the soul with a visual view.

Who left the biggest impression on you?
Our own mother earth who she was in past and who she will be in the future. Impression don’t comes from famous individual, it is to easy to but some names.

Tell us a little about yourself
I’am self-taught photographer from Belgium, doing photojournalism to long term documentary, my focus is on the unreported issues. I found myself increasingly drawn into documentary photography and influenced by images of conflicts between religion.
